my friend just introduced me to a new yarn store. i love it. i want to live there. it sells all sorts of wonderful eco-happy fibers like banana and recycled cotton. i found some wonderful wonderful stuffs.
i found some bright cotton and have cast on for the lacey sweater from loop-d-loop. i'm terrible excited.
and i'm halfway done with the border of the shawl for my mom.
but most importantly, i finally cast on for the white collar part of my moogle costume. cast on two hundred stitches on size three needles. knit two rows in stockinette stitch, and then a row of eyelets (yo, k2tog). purl back.
decreases every eighteenth stitch (from a set of twenty). knit eighteen, k2tog on right half; ssk, knit eighteen on left half - k2tog, ssk at center. three rows stockinette stitch.
